Itinerary
- Two days before arrival: Low-residue diet Avoid vegetables, fruits, beans, brown rice, and whole grains. You can eat light foods such as white rice, white toast, steamed eggs, fish, and chicken.
- The day before registration: A liquid diet (no solids) is recommended. Permissible drinks: clear broth, sports drinks, rice water, tea, clear fruit juice. Not permissible drinks: drinks containing pulp (soy milk, smoothies), dairy products.
- The day before arrival (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM): First bowel cleansing solution/laxative + 2000cc of water. Complete the first stage of the bowel cleansing solution as instructed by the hospital. (Frequent bowel movements may begin; staying at the hotel is recommended.)
- 04:00On the day of arrival (Am 04:00–06:00): Second bowel cleansing solution/laxative + 1000cc water. Second stage of bowel cleansing completed. Stool should be nearly clear or pale yellow liquid.
- 08:00Health Check Check-in: Please go to the Health Management Center on the 3rd floor of the hospital's medical building. A professional health manager will assist you with the check-in process and guide you through today's health management process.
- 08:30Blood and urine tests will be conducted on an empty stomach (please refrain from eating or drinking after 6:00 AM on the day of the blood draw).
- 09:00A full-body health check includes comprehensive services such as abdominal ultrasound, autonomic nerve testing, chest X-ray, and cardiovascular screening (resting electrocardiogram), and takes approximately 1 hour.
- 10:00Anesthesia was administered and the colonoscopy was initiated. The procedure was performed after sedation. After the procedure, the patient rested in the recovery room (the procedure included approximately 1 hour of rest following anesthesia).
- 11:00One-on-one doctor consultation: A dedicated physician explains the preliminary examination results and provides health advice and follow-up plans.
- 11:30After all the examinations are completed, you need to wait for the anesthesia to fully wear off before you can start trying to drink water. This usually takes until 1 or 2 pm (when you can leave the hospital).
