- Eligibility: This package is available exclusively to non-Taiwanese travelers. Foreign nationals holding a Taiwan residence permit are not eligible. When scheduling your health checkup, please provide your national ID number issued by your country of citizenship. On the day of your appointment, you must present the same national ID for registration.

Important Booking Information
1.MRI examinations utilize a strong magnetic field that has a very strong attraction to ferromagnetic objects. Therefore, anyone entering the examination room must remove all metal objects (including hairpins, watches, copper coins, magnetic cards, etc.).
2.To prevent metal from being pulled and moved by the magnetic field, MRI examinations are not recommended for people who have metal objects in their bodies, such as metal clips for brain aneurysms, pacemakers, artificial electronic ears, respiratory assist devices, heart valve replacement surgery, traction devices, etc.
3.During the examination, you will lie in a semi-enclosed space similar to a tunnel. If you have claustrophobia (feeling uncomfortable in small spaces), please inform the screening personnel so that they can conduct an assessment first. CT scans use X-rays to produce images, so they are not recommended for pregnant women.
4.Some examinations require the injection of contrast agent. Therefore, patients who need to undergo the injection must confirm that their renal function is normal and fast before the examination. All medications currently taken, except for hypoglycemic medications, can continue to be taken. If you are currently taking metformin (diaformin) as a hypoglycemic medication, you should stop taking it for at least 2 days to prevent acidosis caused by the inability to excrete metformin normally if the contrast agent causes renal impairment.
